IMPACT

Throughout the past year, a Community of Practice with 34 projects have innovated to support the well-being of children, families, and communities of Hawaii.

The design thinking process with project reiteration has garnered valuable lessons learned about what it takes to innovate. The Community of Practice met monthly (on Zoom) to share best practice, develop skills, strengthen relationships through collaboration, and support and care for one another. Capturing these lessons learned will occur during the culminating event for these projects at the Hawaii GEER Summit with an exhibit and showcase. The Summit will be held at the Sheraton Waikiki on Saturday, October 8, 2022. This will be the first time the members of the Community of Practice will meet each other in-person.
